    Pokemon X and Y Empty Pokemon X and Y

Post by BreeZaps December 10th 2013, 12:15 am

The games have been out for almost 3 months. Scary thinking about that right?

Well what do you think of the games now? What would you rate it? What do you think they could have added? What did they do that you enjoy? What is your new favorite Pokemon?

    9/10

The game is truly fantastic in graphics, 3D Pokemon Game (finally), and the way the game progress. Also, the features in Pokemon X and Y makes it really fantastic game like Pokemon Amie, Super Training, etc. Mega Evolutions and Fairy type Pokemon. Training Pokemon is easy but the only thing I don't like about Pokemon X and Y is Team Flaire's way to destroy the region or something. It's pretty generic and also the storyline in X/Y is not impressive as far it's mostly for adventure but that's just me. My favorite Pokemon in X/Y is Aegislash!

I really enjoyed this game. I liked it more than Gen IV and Gen V overall. Probably my third favorite game after HGSS and RSE.

To start with, I loved the graphics. The scenery was beautiful and the battle animation looked so good. It really made the game a much more pleasant and rewarding experience. I also like the fact that they included easier ways to breed and train Pokemon for competitive play. This was something I never personally felt like doing since it was so time consuming and tedious, but the location of the day care center and Super Training meant that you could hatch and fully train a Pokemon in a mater of 2 or 3 hours.

Now for the few negatives I have. Other than training Pokemon, it felt like there was very little to do after beating the game that was worth actually doing, so I found myself playing less and less over the next couple of weeks after beating it until I barely play anymore. I was hoping for the return of the Battle Frontier or something similar. Also the amount of new Pokemon was a little disappointing, but I sort of understand why they limited this.

    My rating: 8/10
