The chatbox is an essential feature of the Battle Maison and is an area where members would settle down to chat and discuss about various things. Whether they be funny or serious, the chatbox is an area of the forum that most members should be familiar with and this guide should provide some assistance to users who aren't too familiar with the chatbox commands that can be performed.

THE CHATBOX RULES:
Here in the Battle Maison, we have provided the chatbox as an opportunity for you, as the users, to utilize and discuss about various topics with your fellow forum users. However, please be advised that we do have rules for the chatbox as well. They may be similar to our general rules; however, please take the time to read through them.
1. Do NOT abuse the Chatbox Command and tje BBCode system. The Chatbox Commands and the BBCodes are fun to use but if you think you ever going to abuse it. Please don't because why would you abuse the BBCode system? Likewise, use the Chatbox Command and the BBCode for your fun purposes, but not for spamming/trolling or anything stupid.
2. Be respectful to your fellow members. Avoid talking about other users from behind their backs and please do not say anything inappropriate about users either when they're present on the chatbox or away from it. If we, the Battle Maison staff, spot anything hurtful in the chatbox directed towards other users, we won't hesitate to give warning kicks or even bans (depending on how serious the situation is).
3. Do NOT ask or beg for chatbox powers. Chatbox moderators are given their powers to keep some control over the chatbox. Only users who've deserved their status to be chatbox moderators (which is only for the Battle Maison Staff) will be given powers (as they're expected to use their powers wisely). Please don't try to beg or ask for these powers just to utilize additional chatbox commands for troll/stupid purposes. You're not going to get these powers this way.
4. Avoid spamming on the chatbox. A rule that most people will be ignored but it must be addressed. Please avoid spamming repeated messages, emoticons/similes, etc. on the chatbox. Only use the chatbox when you have something worthwhile to say.
5. Avoid changing your text color into something that we can't see your message. Do not use a bloody gore color (unreadable) text that blends the forum's chatbox. It may cause seizures and it will hurt the members eyes (remember health issue!). Also no, we're not going to highlight your unreadable text. Simply just change your text color into something that the members can see what are you trying to say (or something readable to the chatbox)!

CONSEQUENCES FOR BREAKING THE CHATBOX RULES
For somewhat reason that you decided to break the chatbox rules or disobey the Battle Maison Staff order to stop whatever you doing. We are not afraid to kick you out from the chat. These kicks indicate warning kicks. Those kicks shows that if you realize the mistake, then you must fix it by yourself. After an hour or two, the staff might forget the amount of times that you had a warning kick. So those warning kick reset unless the staff member remembered how many times you had a warning kick. If you continue the break the chatbox rules or completely disobey/ignore the staff orders. Then the staff will continue to kick you out from the chatbox in which that will be counted as a warning kick.
As the warning kick is concerned: 3 Warning Kicks = Chatbox Banned (duration: 15 minutes - 1 hour)
If you decided to be really annoying the other members or you just can't simply stop whatever you're obnoxiously doing. A chatbox ban will ensures you that you wouldn't see the chatbox under the chatbox moderators reason for a certain time period. It's like a timeout system. These chatbox bans last a minimum of 15 minutes through the maximum of 1 hour. If you continue to chat banned from the chatbox excessively (roughly 10+ times). Then, the Battle Maison Staff will decide that either you take another 1 hour chatban or you will be sentenced a 1 month forum ban from the forums.
Thanks for reading! I hope this thread isn't kinda boring for you, but I hope this thread helps you about the chatbox.
